Parent Workday is On

Hi, Friends.  I know the weather may define how much we get done, but I'm going to be at school on Saturday, the 23rd, from 9:00 to 1:00 to tackle some "stuff".  If you can join me within that time to help, fantastic!  The following is a working list:

Dig deeply into the dirt pit to loosen the mud (bring a shovel)
Shake out rug in Library and sew hem edge (check out what you think we need for this)
Fix light table in EW loft (this could entail electric work)
Organize office closet (this could be a fun one!)
Transfer books from office shelf to kitchen shelf (I'll help coordinate this)
Hang bulletin board in WW classroom (Tara and Caroline can give you tips here)
          Build: (some preconversation needed here)
shelves in middle courtyard for house the trash and recycling cans (ideas welcome)
shelves to house toys in sand area (ideas welcome here, too)
          Paint:
sand and paint the two blue chairs that are in the middle courtyard (we've got the paint)
Of course, we can always dust, clean, and sort.  Whatever you can do to help, great.  This work can be ongoing and some of it can be done while the children are in school.  We are looking ahead as we plan and prepare for our national tour day on Saturday, April 17th.  Lots to do and so little time so we'll keep you posted.  We are grateful for helping hands.  Roleen
