Hello Families,
We would like to thank all of you for your incredible support for our Relay for Life team. We have received generous donations through our tamale sales, KNO’s and online contributions and feel so grateful. We have a week to go and want to keep you informed on what is happening. The day is set up to include experiences for the whole family and it costs nothing to attend. We have talked to the children about our team and the purpose of Relay for Life and they are excited to join us. I’ll be posting a list of the day’s events and I’m sure you’ll find something that will fit your family’s schedule.
Other things to know:
- We will have a table holding pictures of loved ones who are fighting cancer, those who are survivors and those who have lost their battle. There will also be a slide show preceding the Luminaria walk. Please send us any images that you would like to add to our table and let us know if you would also like them added to the slide show.
- Yes, we are camping out and the children want to camp with us. We would love to have company and everyone is welcome to join. It is a great way to test the camping gear, plus it is the only time you can camp out with the teachers.
- Drop in to say hello, join us for an hour, or pack a lunch and join us for a picnic. Whatever works for you.
