Well, the time has come…….far faster than we would have liked, but after 15 years, our family is saying goodbye to the west side. We are not originally from LA, so for Marc and I, it’s really all we’ve ever known about this great city. And it’s where we had our beautiful Ayanna. Our hearts are heavy with emotion. It’s a new adventure for sure! We have moved to La Crescenta and while we are incredibly excited about our new home and community, we could not be sadder about leaving the NSW family. It’s a bittersweet time. The growth we’ve seen in Ayanna this past year is indescribable – we are so very grateful for the amazing teachers that work with these kids everyday. Ayanna will be attending Lighted Window preschool in La Canada-Flintridge. She is excited about her “new school” but of course very sad and anxious about leaving her teachers and friends at NSW. The transition will be challenging for sure. But, we plan to come back often to visit (all our friends live on the west side, so there’s really no choice!) and hope you’ll reach out to us if you’re ever in the Pasadena area.
