The PI (Pedagogical Institute) grew out of an awareness that many teachers and parents outside of New School-West and our sister schools are keen to be involved in the Reggio Inspired and Co-Constructivist practices we employ. We and our sister schools: Evergreen, First Presbyterian, Branches Atelier, Palisades Preschool and The Growing Place study together under the Westside Collaborative. Part of our work to bring our study to the wider community is to volunteer to host workshops at the PI.
