Teacher – Cynthia Vazquez

Jasmine



My name is Cynthia Vazquez and I live with my husband Julio and our four children Jessica(14), Jennifer (12), Alex(12), and Jasmine(5).  We like spending time together on weekends as well as being with family.  We like watching movies and just hanging out.  I have been a teacher at NSW for eight years and am the Lillie teacher right now.  Julio is a Tech. and enjoys helping fix things.  My daughter Jessica started high school this year and really enjoys making things look pretty and being with her friends.  Jennifer and Alex are both in middle school.  Jennifer likes painting and creating masterpieces, Alex likes to play soccer.  Jasmine goes to NSW and is in the East wing she will graduate in June and will be going to kindergarten.  She really likes to dress up and help clean up.  Our family is special because we are a blended family and enjoy spending time with each other.  





Shasberger Adeline Shassberger



My name is Adeline Shassberger (you can call me “Addy”).  We live in Culver City.  My mom is Madison and my dad is Scott Shassberger.  Both of my parents were born in Grand Rapids, MI.  They both grew up in Michigan.  My dad is a Graphic Designer at Fox.  My mom is a Freelance producer & actor.  My dad loves to paint and play golf & basketball.  My mom loves going to the beach and yoga.  My brothers are Jack (10) and West (6).  Jack loves to play sports and make movies.  West loves soccer and basketball.  They both go to Overland Elementary. On weekends we love to BBQ with friends and neighbors.  Our   park is Cloverfield in Santa Monica.  Our family is special because we only have each other here in California. Our family is back East. So we’ve created a great community of friends and neighbors that we adore!






CollinsBrendan Collins 


My name is Brendan Collins, and this is my family.  We live in Redondo Beach.   My mom, Jessica, was born/raised in Richmond, Indiana and grew up in Centerville, Indiana.  She works as a teacher and loves to go to the beach and spend time with me.  My dad, Scott, was born/raised in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Los Angeles.  He works as a TV producer and loves to play volleyball and tell me stories. We have 2 cats named Manny and Cleo.  As a family, we love to go to the beach and spend time with friends on weekends.  Our favorite place to visit is my grandma and grandpa’s house in Indiana and our favorite park is Valley Park in Hermosa Beach.  Our family is special because we spend a lot of time together doing fun things like, going to the beach, playing at the park, reading and telling stories and lots of cuddling.




CollisBryce Collis 



My name is Bryce and this is my family.  We live in Los Angeles on top of a hill covered with tall pine trees.  My papa’s name is Adam.  He was born in Boston, MA, and grew up in Kentucky.  He works as a teacher and a filmmaker and he loves to tickle me, give me hugs, read to me and teach me things.  My mommy’s name is Allison.  She was born in Bethesda, MD, and grew up here in Los Angeles but closer to the beach at Maka and Grandpa’s house.  She works as a communications exec and loves to spend time with her kids (that’s me!).  My sister, Caroline, is 2 1/2 years old and she loves to climb everywhere. She also loves to take things out of my hands.  But that’s ok I love Caroline. We have three pets, Chachi, Melodious, and Koodoo. Our favorite place to visit is Santa Barbara and our favorite park is Will Rogers Park.  As a family, we love to go to the farmer’s market on weekends.  We also love the beach and riding the horses at the carousel.  Our family is special because we look for what is special in each other and in everyone.





FloresMaddox Flores


My name is Maddox Flores, and this is my family.  We live in Beverlywood.  My mom, Jill Teitelbaum, was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Los Angeles. She works as an attorney and loves to make me laugh. My dad, Jorge Flores, was born in Mexico and grew up in Pacific Palisades. He works as a political consultant and loves to wrestle with me. My brother, Luca, is 3 years old and loves to play with trains.  He goes to school at NSW, too!  We have a pet named Lucky (Portuguese Water Dog).  As a family, we love to walk around the neighborhood, dance, and spend time with extended family on weekends.  Our favorite place to visit is the train store and the Getty Center.  Our favorite park is Roxbury.  Our family is special because we make each other laugh a lot



Nico Williams

Williams My name is Nathaniel (Nico) Williams and this is my family. We live in Mar vista. My mom, Andrea, was born and raised in New Hampshire. She works as a movie executive and loves  to relax. My dad, Kevin, was born in Kansas and grew up in Watts, CA.  He works as a musician and painter and loves to create. My sister, Isabella, is 5 years old and loves to dance. She goes to The Willows School.  We have a pet named Delilah who is now gone (sad). As a family, we love to be together and hang out on weekends. Our favorite place to visit is the beach and our favorite park is the banana park. Our family is specail because we love staying at home and being together and creating music and art. We like a good laugh too!


Lee-SperaPhoebe Gabrielle Lee-Spera


My name is Phoebe Gabrielle (I’m on the right) and this is my family. We live in Mar Vista..  My dad, Gabriel Spera, was born in NY and grew up in NJ. He works as a writer for rocket scientists and a poet (go figure) and loves to garden, bike, and practice kung fu.  My mom, Rachel Lee, was born and raised in NJ. She works as a professor of literature at UCLA, and loves to swim, hike and fantasize about becoming an anthropologist.  I have a twin sister, Raven, who loves baby dolls, doggies, playdoh and doing puzzles, and a big sis, Paloma, who is 4 years old and loves singing, and making up rhymes & stories.  Both go to NSW. On weekends, we go to the pool, hike, and cook with friends.  Our favorite place to visit is Yoku Yoku and our favorite parks are Huntington and Virginia Park.  Our family is special because we all know the lyrics to “What do you do with a drunken sailor.

My name is Raven Lily (I’m on the left hugging cuddle bear and Mr. Bunny) and this is my family. We live in Mar Vista.  My dad, Gabriel Spera, was born in Staten Island and grew up in NJ. He works as a writer for rocket scientists and a poet (go figure) and loves to garden, bike, and practice kung fu.  My mom, Rachel Lee, was born in NJ and grew up there. My name is Samuel (Sam) Pinder and this is my family.  We live in Santa Monica.  My mom, Sarah Pinder, was born and raised in England until she was 13 and then grew up in Massachusetts.  She works a mom and occasional writer and loves to knit, write, garden and chill out.  My dad, Dan Pinder, was born and raised in England until he was 2 and then he grew up in Los Angeles.  He works as a music editor and loves to take photos, travel and chill out.  My brother, William Pinder, is 8 year old and loves to play with legos, read and hang out at home with friends.  He goes to school at Crossroads Elementary.  We have a pet named Toggle. As a family, we love to play in the backyard and eat French toast for breakfast on the weekends.  One of our favorite places to visit is the Huntington Gardens and our favorite park is Clover Park.  Our family is special because we are multicultural, somewhat talented and very good-looking!




FerriniNEWNSWADD Sienna Ferrini 


My name is Sienna Ferrini, and this is my family.  We live in Mar Vista, 3 blocks away from NSW.  My mom Chantal, was born/raised in England and grew up in Oxford and Cambridge over there.  She works as a full time mother and loves to keep us all organized! My dad, Bob , was born in Chicago and grew up in New Jersey and Conneticut. He works as the Managing Director for an agency that does the advertising for Apple and loves to surf and play golf. My sister, Genevieve, is 4 months old and loves to chew everything and play with me and my toys.   She is hoping to be a NSW friend too. We have a dog named Barnaby.  As a family, we love to hang out with friends and go on mini adventures on weekends.  Our favorite place to visit is the beach and our favorite park is Clover.  Our family is special because mommy thinks football is played with your feet and daddy says it’s played with a “pig skin!”

My name is Sofia Giuseppina Mollica and this is my family. We live in Mar Vista. My dad, Mark J Mollica , was born in Los Angeles, raised in Culver City and grew up in Culver City. He owns La Vecchia Cucina in Santa Monica. He works as a chef and loves to cook. My mom, Anna B Martinez-Mollica, was born and raised in Culver City and grew up in Culver City. She works as a Kindergaretn teacher at West Athens. She loves working with young children in preschool and Kindergarten. I have a doggie named Joey, he lives with my Nonna. As a family we love to try new restaurants, watch movies, go to the beach, color and draw on weekends. My favorite place to visit is my cousin’s Jacob and Johnny’s house and our favorite sushi restuarant is Kiyokawa. Our favorite place to visit is Kauai. Our family is special because we cook together and love each other so much. My daddy teaches me how to make eggs, pizza and many other foods.
