Say “hi” to Samalah Seldon, a NSW graduate who is doing her community service for a High School requirement at NSW. She’ll be here in the afternoons, helping teachers file, organize and clean. She is connecting with Amy, Jessica, Cynthia and Silvana – all her old teachers!!
Javier Rosas and Laura Jaramillo, from Venice Skills Center will continue to work with Teacher Silvana as they observe and intern in the East Wing through June.
Monica Caris is studying at Santa Monica College and working with Cynthia Vazquez as her mentor for ECE 21. This practicum class is one of the final courses before achieving an Early Childhood Certificate. Monica’s goals are to get her Masters in Education with Special Rights. Please say ‘hi’ when you see her. She was introduced to the West Wing children, today at morning circle. She will be here on Tuesdays and Thursdays through June.
This is Isabel Lopez, interning from SMC. Initially, she was an Animal Science major aspiring to be a veterinarian, but in summer of 2014 she decided to change her major to Early Childhood Education due to her joy of working with children. She is interning on Thursdays and Fridays with Flora Toro in the East Wing.
