ASHER Griffith

My name is Asher Griffith and this is my family. We live in Westchester. My mom, Michelle, was born in LA and grew up in Laurel Cyn and Pacific Palisades. She works as a fashion designer and entrepreneur and loves to hike, swim and sleep. My dad, Gabriel, was born in San Francisco and grew up in Petaluma. He works as a social entrepreneur and loves to play guitar, sing, and backpack. My siblings; Luscia, Alastair and Mattea are 6 years and 3 months and love to draw, dance, sleep and drink milk. Luscia goes to school at Broadway Elementary. We have a pet named Luna. As a family, we love to swim at LMU and got the beach on weekends. Our favorite place to visit is the gumball machine and Santa Monica Pier and our favorite park is Ocean Park. We are excited to be a part of the NSW family land we will bring the gift of my toy shark to add to the community.

My name is August and this is my family.  We live in Mar Vista, on May street – the same street as NSW!  We identify as American / Australian / New Zealanders.  My Dad, Simon, was born in Adelaide and grew up in Australia. Dad works as a Project Manager at Westfield and loves to create fun play spaces for us to enjoy, cook on his BBQ and ride his Peloton bike. I also know if anything gets broken around the house, he can usually mend it. My Mummy, Anah, was born in Gisborne and grew up in New Zealand. Mum is at home with us at the moment which we all love, and she is a designer and loves to cook, write, play and create. My brothers name is Hudson, he is 3 and he’s going to be joining me at NSW – I’m so excited about that. I can’t wait to show him everything we do there! We love to play together. I have a baby sister called Noli (short for Magnolia) and we love on her so much. She is turning 1 this year. As a family, we love to go on hikes, and go to the park and the beach. We also enjoy our neighborhood walks, sometimes Hudson and I ride our bikes or push our trucks around the streets. On weekends we have family meal times, my favorite thing to eat is mummy’s roast chicken. We also like to bake together, our banana muffins are so yum. Our favorite place to visit is the beach, I like jumping in the waves with Hudson and Noli and I’m learning to surf on my boogie board! Our favorite parks are Clover and Culver West and we like riding our bikes and playing soccer there too.  We have brought the gift of ‘sibling friendship’ to the NSW community.  What we love most about being part of the NSW family is the inspiring teachers and staff there. It is a very special place and I can’t wait to go back and see my friends again.

My name is Christoph “Iggy” Perelyubskiy and this is my family.  We live in Mar Vista.  My mom, Hillary, was born and grew up in in Carpinteria, CA .  She works as a librarian and loves to write, cook and play ukulele.  My dad, Denis, was born in Kiev, Ukraine and grew up in Kiev, Ukraine and Los Angeles.  He works as a software engineer and loves to ride his bike and make coffee.  My brother, Max, will turn two years old in January and loves to do everything I do.  He goes to daycare at Annie’s house. As a family, we love to work in the garage  and the garden and see Baba and Dieda on weekends.  Our favorite place to visit is my 11-year old cousin Simon’s house.  We are excited to be a part of the NSW family and we will bring the gift of imagination and talking to add to the community.

My name is Dillon Osborn and this is my family. We live in Venice and identify as white/Anglo. My father, Randy was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and grew up in Oregon. He works as a technology executive and loves to ride bikes. My mother, Jordan was born in Santa Monica and grew up in Malibu. She works as a physical therapist and loves to read. My sisster, Mason goes to school with me in the East Wing. We have a pet dog named Nugget. As a family, we love to read, ride bikes and go to grandma and grandpa’s house on the weekends. Our favorite place to visit is my grandma and grandpa’s house and our favorite park is the whale park. We are excited to be a part of the NSW family and we bring the gift of a sweet, wild card.

DYLAN Fields

My name is Dylan Fields and this is my family.  We live in Westwood, Los Angeles.  My dad, David Fields, was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. He works as a Start-up Founder and loves to run, play tennis, laugh, play guitar, listen to music and swim. My mom, Fatim Fields, was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and grew up in Melbourne and Malaysia.  She works in marketing and design and loves to run and race with me, hike, yoga, play tennis and cook.  My brother, Elton, is a 13-month-old baby and loves to play ball and snuggle. As a family, we love to play or hike at the park, beach or visit the zoo on weekends.  Our favorite place to visit is Nana’s and Poppy’s place in Santa Monica beach and our favorite parks are Holmby Park, Douglas Park and Will Rogers Park! We are excited to be a part of the NSW family and we will bring the gift of laughter, music, food and creativity to add to the community.

She works as a Deputy Director at a legal nonprofit and loves to sew, swim and spend time with her family and friends.  My Poppy, Cheryl was born/raised in Los Angeles and grew up in Brentwood and Malibu.  She works as an attorney at a legal nonprofit and loves to shop, play outdoors and have fun.  We have a dog named Coco. As a family, we love to play on the beach and visit family and friends on weekends.  Our favorite places to visit are my Baba’s house in Century City and my Aunt Cheryl’s house in Utah and our favorite park is Disneyland and Mother’s Beach Park in Marina del Rey.  We have brought the gift of fun and love for Disney princesses to the NSW community.  What we love most about being part of the NSW family is the incredible love and dedication the very talented teachers and staff bring to the children and their families.

She works as a financial advisor and loves to travel and spend time out. My dad, Sam was born and raised in Isreal. He works as a security executive and loves to cook. My brother, Jake was born in 2013 and graduated from NSW in 2019. He loves to play sports and swim. He goes to school at Brawerman. As a family, we love spend time in Ojai on the weekends. Our favorite place to visit is Oaxaca, Mexico and our favorite park is MDR Beach. We love the NSW community and teachers and we are excited to be a part of the NSW family. My name is Everly Grey Jennings and this is my family. We live in Mar Vista and still consider ourselves recent transplants from Brooklyn, NY (we moved here in late 2016!) My mommy, Emma, was born in San Francisco and grew up near Menlo Park, CA. She works at Google and loves to cook, make up stories and be in nature. My daddy, Aric, was born in Indiana and grew up in Orlando, Florida. He works as an entrepreneur and loves to go camping, mountain bike and build things with wood. My younger brother, Daniel, was born in June 2020. He loves to eat, sleep, and smile at all of us. He is going to My First Place this fall. We have a dog named Beauregard who is a basset hound. As a family we love to get outside on the weekends. Some favorite activities include fishing, road trips to the mountains, and neighborhood walks. We bring the gift of outdoor adventure to the NSW community and are excited to go camping with our friends some day soon. We love the support we get from our friends and teachers in the NSW community.

GOLDA Lev Shapiro

My name is Golda Lev Shapiro and this is my family.  We live in the Venice Canals.  My mom, Lori, was born/raised in New York City and grew up there.  She works as a Rabbi and loves to spend time with me cuddling.  My dad, Joel, was born and raised in Los Angeles and grew up in Los Angeles.  He worked as a physician, dancer and theatre owner and loves to take action and bring awareness about Global Warming.  My sister, Harel Simone, is 6 years old and loves to Dance, Act and do play with me.  She goes to school at Crossroads. We have a dog named Bella. As a family, we love to see shows, go swimming, and go to the beach park on weekends.  Our favorite places to visit are San Francisco, New York City and the world, and our favorite park is the Venice Beach Park. JACKSON Bernthal

My name is Jack Bernthal and this is my family. We live in Venice. My dad, Nick, was born, raised and grew up in Washington, DC. He works as a doctor who fixes kids with bone cancer and loves to take me on trips, to play Sunday morning basketball with friends and to goof around and have fun with my sister and me. My mom, Julie, was born, raised, and grew up in Pasadena, California. She works as a doctor too and she helps people with their medicines. Mom loves to help me build airports, take me to museums, and read books to me. My sister, Georgia, is 10 months old and loves to eat my toys and laugh with me. She doesn’t go to school yet. We have a pet dog named Jojo. As a family, we love to explore, travel, eat pancakes and hang out with my cousins on weekends. Our favorite place to visit is Lake Tahoe and our favorite park is Clover Park. We are excited to be a part of the NSW family and we will bring the gift of openness (and medical advice 🙂 ) to add to the community.

My name is Keaton McNamara and this is my family.  We live in Venice.  My mom, Deirdre Lanning, was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Pennsylvania.  She works as a lawyer and a professor and loves to read.  My dad, Sean, was born in Ecuador and grew up in lots of different countries.  He works in advertising and loves music.  My sister, Quinn, is seven years old and loves to ride horses.  She goes to school at Citizens of the World Mar Vista. We have a pet Labradoodle named Tillie who lives in Utah. As a family, we love to go to the beach on weekends.  Our favorite place to visit is Park City and our favorite park is Oakwood.  We are excited to be a part of the NSW family and we will bring the gift of enthusiasm to add to the community.

Hey Everyone! My name is Levi Thresher and this is my family. We live in Mar Vista. Both of my parents, Dan and Elexis, were born and raised in Miami, Fl. My dad is an in-house attorney and likes to play golf and watch documentaries, and my mom is an executive producer at a post-production company, and likes to paddleboard and do yoga.  My big sister, Indie, is my best friend. She also went to NSW but is in TK at Beethoven Elementary now. As a family, we spend our time walking to the different parks in the neighborhood, riding our bikes to the beach, and playing in our yard. My Grandma and Pa live in the guest house, and Opa and Grandma Jean live at the lake house in New Jersey. We like to visit our best friends, Ana, Kieran, and Maceo who live in Lake Tahoe.

He works as a 3D Game Animator and loves to play games and BBQ w/me. My sibling name is: Cecilia Jolie Miranda- aka Ceci, she was born in the year 2013 and loves to play LOLs with me. Ceci goes to school at El Marino Language School. We have a pet beta fish named Rosy. As a family, we love to watch movies on weekends. My name is Mia Olive Bronstein and this is my family. We live in Westchester. We identify as white, Jewish. My mommy Tracy was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She worked as a make up artist and aesthetician and loves to take care of our family. My daddy Brian was born and raised in Los Angeles California. He works as a property manager and loves to Surf. My siblings are Lola and Avery. they were born in the years 2018 and 2020. They love to play and snuggle with me. We have a pet dog named Toast, he is a French bulldog. As a family we love to go to the beach, swim in our pool, and go to the farmers market on the weekends. My favorite place to visit is Disneyland. Our favorite family park is Glen Alla.

She works as a student of Chinese Medicine and is going to school for her Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and loves to do gymnastics, dance to good music, sing songs, go to the theater and to the orchestra. My momma Vanessa, was born in Darwin, Australia and grew up in Brisbane, Australia. She runs a video app called Tik Tok, and loves to sleep, eat and enjoys a good flat white coffee. My brother Zavier “Zavi” Hawk is one year old and loves to play chase, bounce balls and dance. He goes to school at Moo Moo Musica, and swim and gymnastics class. We have a pet named Ziggy (a mini schnauzer) and Tahlulah (a 20 year old cat who passed away in June). As a family, we love to picnic, go on bike rides, play outside, do art, travel and go to brunch on weekends. My name is Rufus and this is my family. We live in Marina Del Rey. We identify as an international family. My dad, Toby, was born in the United Kingdom and grew up in Colchester. He works as a content exec and loves to spend time wth his friends and explore new places. My papa, Andy, was born in South America and grew up in Switzerland. He works as a marketing exec and loves to travel and good Swiss chocolate. As a family, we love to explore places near and far on weekends.  Our favorite place to visit is Palm Springs and our favorite park is Glen Alla Park.  We have brought the gift of a European sensibility (and constant conversation from Rufus…) to the NSW community.  What we love most about being part of the NSW family are the friendships with other parents and the joy Rufus brings home.

My name is Santiago (Santi) Cussen and this is my family. We identify as white and Latino. We live in Palms. My mom, Ashley Hart, was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and raised in Mesquite, Texas. She works as a creative marketer and loves to be bike  hike, play, swim and listen to podcasts. My dad, Alex Cussen, was born in Berkeley, CA and grew up in Santiago Chile and Berkeley. He works as a teacher and loves to teach, read, write & ride his bike. My brother, Emilio Cussen was born in 2014 and graduated from New School-West in 2019 and loves to play baseball, swim and read stories about dragons. He goes to school at Wildwood Elementary. As a family, we love to jump on the trampoline and go swimming on weekends. Our favorite place to visit is Zion National Park and Berkeley but closer to home, it’s the Mar Vista Park. We are excited to be a part of the NSW family and we will bring the gift of connecting parents, new and past and love the amazing teachers, connections and our children’s foundation.

My sister, Layla, was born in the year 2011 and loves to paint, draw, and create. She goes to school at UCLA Lab School. We have no pets, but my sister and I really want a bunny (and a dog).
