It’s Friday and we’ve completed our first full week of school! In the beginning months, our main focus is on building relationships, and already we see the children seeking to make connections with each other.
The children have been exploring the different areas in the classroom (house area, building area, communication center, exploration room and mini studio), as well as our two outdoor spaces (front yard and sand area). Below are pictures of the children building relationships with each other and their environment. Some of the keywords we’ve been using in the classroom are: community, reflection, nature, connection and relationships. Please stay tuned for more detailed documentation in the forthcoming weeks.
