School was bustling with activity on Saturday at our annual Book Fair. The event was a great success, raising funds that will be used to enhance our library selections and systems, and also bringing together current and alum families. A huge thank you to Book Fair Chairs Amy Weiss (Sonia, EW & Mira, WW) and Emma Jennings (Everly, WW) and Bake Sale Chairs Leah Lavin (Lucy, EW) and Kelly McGuigan (Jude & Ozzy, EW) for all of your efforts to make the event such a success. Thank you to Hillary Perelyubskiy (Christoph, WW) for captivating children with readings and a sing-along and to Gabe Griffith (Asher, WW) and Kenny Stevens (Harrison, EW) for providing awesome live music. Thanks to all who volunteered your time, contributed bake sale items, scrambled to move things around when the rain came unexpectedly and to all who came out and participated. It was a huge team effort and a fun day. What a joy it was to see so many alums come through and so many children perched on the steps outside and lounging on pillows inside enjoying new books. We are so grateful for all of you for making the day so meaningful.
