The teacher revisited the front yard dirt container with some children and started to document by taking pictures and recording dialogue to see where the children's interest was.
Hayden and Rowena: “There are baby worms!”
They wanted to
water the soil.
Hayden: “It is too dry.”
Rowena: "I need to get some
more water . Save my spot Hayden."
Hayden: "There is a big one. Maybe it is
the mommy."
We will be investigating earthworms in the front yard and observing the interest for direction in our worm inquiry. As you can imagine, the whole school is curious about the worms.
