This week, the snack was brought by Elliot, Mika, Keaton, Mira, Marina, Rufus and Sonia and Rondie brought flowers.
Zoe (EW) and mom, Jennifer cooked with the children.
Phedon (EW) and mom and dad (Christina and Haris) picked up and delivered a new area rug for the EW.
And Miles’ (WW) grandpa, Bill, took ‘day in the life’ photos and reflected on the experience.
“I enjoyed seeing the children with enthusiasm in their eyes learning in awe as they achieved a task. There is so much expression in a child’s smile from seeing the results of a painting that they did. . . and the look on their faces as they accomplished a lesson from a teacher! It was great to see a parent volunteer their time to show how cookies are made from scratch and the children got to eat the cookies!”
