Raven and Dashiell test newspaper for their airplane.
Maddox: “Oh, the paper won’t work.” Maddox has a keen understanding of the properties of paper and flight.
Raven: “Why?”
Maddox: “It won’t work because I know it won’t work.” He reaffirms his opinion, not having the experience of discovering the why behind his known facts.
Raven: “I want to try.” Raven asserts her theory.
Raven proceeds to fold a ‘long’ airplane with the newspaper. She tests it from the front yard structure.
Morgan: “That’s awesome. It’s big!”
Felix: “Yes, it’s awesome and it flies.”
Raven: “It flies, but it goes in circles.”
Adriana will revisit with the children to test other theories.
