Sadly, we received news that Linda Mechanic passed away from a long fight with cancer. Linda has been a long time friend of The New School-West and the Mar Vista community. Through her Peachfest block party and her studio: Peachtree Pottery on Boise, she’s supported artists young and old and fired all our clay work. Her store will continue in that tradition under her partner Carolyn’s care. We will miss Linda greatly.
