The West Wing Children are continuing their interests in castles. Two small groups have developed and are working in the studio with the intention of bringing their work back into the classroom. One of these groups has been working in clay: exploring the elements of what makes a community.
The children refer to the castle community as the “The Kingdom” which includes a castle, palace, farm, drawbridge and an evil wizard’s house.
Another group has been investigating the function of drawbridges.
With drawbridges playing a key factor in the castle’s safety.

Currently both of these groups have reached a place where we need the help of a skilled woodworker.
