It is with a heavy heart and only after a lot of consideration that Dru has decided to move to Scottsdale, Arizona, to care for her ailing mother. Her mom recently had a stroke and can no longer live on her own. We discussed her decision with the children in the West Wing today. Since our NSW family is so close, it was hard news to deliver and to hear. Honoring family is important to all of us, so we will send Dru off with our blessings. Please join us in giving Dru a fond farewell. As she tries to put everything in place, Dru will be with us at least through June and maybe until the end of the school year. We’ve learned a lot from Dru’s artistic background and generous spirit in a short time. We know she’s making the right choice for her family.
