Last week in the East Wing, A large shadow screen was set up with a light projector to support the children's interest in working with light and shadow. Since then, the couches and chairs had been taken from the East Wing while they were being reupholstered. This has allowed the teachers to move the shadow screen around to see where it will work best.

So far the teachers have noticed the children’s interest in putting on shows for their peers. They have put on magic shows, movies, and dance shows.

The teachers are observing the children to see how this addition will foster the children’s work, and where to go next. 
 
 

Legacy: Let's make a movie for the friends. Let's do The Princess and the Frog

Sora: Yeah we need to make the characters. I’ll draw the frog.

Legacy: I’ll draw the Princess.

Violet: what are you doing? Can I help?

Sora: We need a picture of a restaurant for the princess.

Violet:I don’t know really how to draw a restaurant, but I can try.

Legacy:  Now we need to write the words.
 
Legacy, Sora and Violet worked on making transparencies and a script for The Princess and The Frog movie. Their next step is rehearsing their movie, and then finding an audience for it.
