Join us on Tuesday, February 7th, for the Love Post Office store from 8:00-9:00 am and again from 2:00-3:00 at NSW.
This New School-West Post Office store tradition will be open again next week just in time for Valentine’s Day! Everyone’s invited to shop this Tuesday!!
The children will be selling real US postage stamps and handmade stationary. We will also be accepting mail that needs to be delivered to the US mailbox. The original goal for the Post Office was to raise money for the School Garden. The gardening committee has just spent the last Saturday preparing for Spring and we have a new system for utilizing the produce at snack with Ivana and Katherine.
The 2012 “Love Stamp” will be available to order (pictured below) at the Love Post Office on Tuesday (Delivery delayed until after the 14th). In the East Wing classroom, there are also cards and postage available for self service every day.
The children will need parent volunteers to help handle the money exchanges. Please check the hallway door for the sign up sheet! And bring some letters to mail.
