“Gotta love GIRL POWER” -Luis (Isla’s dad, WW)

It’s a birthday tradition to celebrate with friends at NSW. Parents like Isla’s, Luis and Susan, bring in a book they’ve shared with the teacher and read it at circle time with all the children. Afterwards, they may donate the book to the library at school and a special photo and name plate are put in the book to remember the occasion.

Teacher Jess: Tell me about the book you chose.

Isla: I like it because I like it so much.

Luis (dad): I like to read it to you, Isla. The girls love it. It’s the one they pick. Isla picked it out, it’s her favorite. Gotta love Girl Power!

Isla brought My First Book of Girl Power. For book recommendations, talk with your teachers – children’s books are a particular passion of Amy’s and she always has good recommendations.  -Teachers Kris and Jess
