Sabrina Tom (Rio’s mom, EW) came to support the Firetruck story. In particular, we needed to work on how the story ends.
Sabrina: What makes a good ending is when we think about what characters learned or how they changed. How did you guys feel after a whole day of fighting fires?
Lily: Exhausted!
Teddy: Exhausted and then I’d have smoke all over me.
Van: I’m looking forward to having a rest. I’d have to take a nap.
Sabrina: We’ve got how you feel. Is there something about what you learned? What would you do differently the next time you fought a fire?
Lily: Hoses help.
Van: Next time I’ll get a helicopter and the hoses will put water down.
