Grace, Leah, and Madeleine were asked to return to their original appointment after having moved onto the House Area.
Teacher Cynthia: Make sure your names are on your work that you finished at the Communication Area.
Grace, Leah and Madeleine return to the space and add their names to their work. Leah then goes to the appointment board.

She moved all the girls photos from the Communication Area to the House Area section, solidifying and communicating their current choices.
Implementing this visual board of appointments on both wings allows the children more control and gives them more responsibility about where they are choosing to play, with whom, and when. We anticipate that sometimes they will want to add their faces to a space that is at capacity. When that happens, they will engage in a negotiation – either with the children who are currently there, or within themselves. We wonder how they will approach self regulation and negotiations and we’re ready to support and follow up with both. -Kristin
