One of our whole school strategies this year is to make the gifts of engagement visible and valued. Parents are such a HUGE part of what happens here each day and we appreciate the time, skills, ideas, talent, and the relationship you share. After our first gathering at the Tsapatsaris and Powell home (Ephy, WW,) the remainder of our first week continued to be rich in participation!
- Tara (Moss, WW) hosted a meeting on Thursday for new parents after drop off at Alaina’s Coffee on Venice Blvd.
- Arrow (EW) brought a sweet bouquet today.

- Kayden, Harrison, and Finn brought the snacks for everyone and some East Wingers helped to make menus for those West Wingers just getting used to morning circle while some parents (Brita with Finn, WW) helped West Wingers make the menu as part of their goodbye.
- Heather (Estelle, EW) mentored me on updating the community book with all your pictures and bios! Go to the header, Community Books, and click on the flower groups to get to know one another better.
- Jess (Chase, EW) wrote and organized the Parent Team shouts in preparation for the Parent Partner’s meeting next week.
- Laura (Ava, EW) created door sign ups and picked up tables and will be setting up with teachers at Glen Alla Park for our New Family Picnic on Saturday.
- Nik (Ava, EW) created a great ‘hello’ video from Roleen as she travels.
