Did you know? Parent’s Day is coming!

Did you know that the NSW teachers and children will be celebrating us on Parents’ Day?   For the West Wing Parents, it’s on Wednesday morning on June 2nd and for the East Wing Parents, it’s on Thursday, June 3rd.

Plan to get a sitter for the siblings and tell your work you’ll be in around 11:00 because from 8:30 to 10:30, we’ll be sipping O.J. that the children will be making and nibbling on a continental breakfast complete with coffee and tea. It’s a time for your child to “show you around” and participate in their favorite activities (sans the mud pit!), find out what’s going on in the classroom, all while gathering with fellow NSW friends.  We will all come together for circle time around 10:00  or so and they’ll send us off (gift in hand) back to work while we continue on with our day. . .  grateful, once again, to have NSW in our lives.

P.S.  If you can’t join us for the whole morning, let the teachers know so they can be ready with a treat in hand before you have to rush off.

P.P.S.  Those children who don’t normally attend on these mornings are more than welcome to come with you to the morning celebration and go home with you after circle.
