We are honoring the wonderful teachers with a special Year-End Teacher Appreciation luncheon on Tuesday, June 7th.
In order to give everyone an opportunity to show their apppreciation.
Please do not forget to …
• Contribute $25.00 for the cash gift fund. While this is a suggested minimum, please feel free to give more. Please place a check (made out to cash) or cash in the large envelope on Roleen’s door (marked Teacher Appreciation Day).
• Make “pocket notes” for your child’s teachers on colored index cards (we’ll provide these cards; look for them in your file folders and extras will be in baskets by the sign-in sheets). These notes can be anything–from a dictated message from your child (or straight from you), to a drawing or painting with your child’s initials, to a collage of photos or craft materials. They can be addressed to a specific teacher or be a general note of appreciation. We’re going to SURPRISE the teachers with these pocket notes (hidden… you guessed it…in pocket aprons) so please do NOT give the notes directly to the teacher but PUT FINISHED NOTES IN THE ENVELOPE IN THE MAIN OFFICE.
The deadline is Friday, June 3rd.
