I was lucky enough to come to Marilyn’s last class of her parenting series. So much great information from which to base continued conversations. Once again, I’m reminded that parents want time to play out scenarios and ask questions to further extend their learning in a trusting environment. The classes will speak to everyone and you are welcome even if you missed Marilyn’s classes so I hope you join us. Roleen
Topics include:
Principles of child development with a focus on active listening
Problem solving
Developmentally appropriate expectations and discipline techniques.
Marilyn’s suggested reading was:
Becky Bailey’s book Easy to Love, Difficult to Discipline
I think it’s a great book to spark the dialogue and a good foundation for strengthening parenting skills. It’s suggested reading but not mandatory.
Cost for the series of four:
$150.00 per person
$275.00 per couple
Childcare will be available for:
$10.00 per child
$ 5.00 per sibling
(To be paid directly to the childcare person on duty)
