For a while the teachers have been thinking of ways to enhance the tubes,we have added different shaped balls and bowling pins to see where the childrens interest was. After observation we noticed that the children liked to use the cars, so Yoli brought a few new cars in and it sparked something.A few days later Vincent brought in 10 cars that he wanted to give to the school.
Since the cars have become part of the tubes, the children have found new ways to use them. They race the cars down the tubes, they try to see how many pins they can knock down with the cars, and they place the tubes in the tree and let the cars roll down. The addition to the tubes has brought a new group of children,from both the east and west wings.
