“We like to play family!”
Dramatic play expands a child’s awareness of self in relation to others and the environment. Through dramatic play, children continue to build understandings of their world. There are children who have or are expecting new siblings in their lives. Strong feelings can come along with this life change. Dramatic play offers children the opportunity to role-play an event over and over again in order to process their emotions.
