Brochetas

Flora's student teacher Beatriz noticed that cooking healthy food with the children is a special part of our schools culture. Also, she observed the children's interest in dramatic play cooking in the East Wing house area. In response, she brought in a cooking activity to the house area for one of her assignments. She brought an assortments of fruits to make fruit kabobs. The group soon made a connection with the activity when they realized that they had heard of these at home.

The group decided to make enough Kabobs for both the East Wing and West Wing. Will overheard this conversation and came over to help figure out how many fruit Kabobs they would need.

Will:     How many West Wingers are here today? I think there are 20 West Wingers and 20 East Wingers, so you'll need to make 40 of these.
