On Sunday, October 29th, the NSW community gathered to celebrate the upcoming November weddings of three of the teachers, Astrid & Albert (November 11, 2017), Stefanie & Jordan (November 17, 2017), and Jessica & Dewi (November 25, 2017). It was a lovely afternoon and everyone enjoyed celebrating these three couples.
Jessica took some time to put some beautiful reflections together about our day of celebrating our wedding couples. We all agreed it was your support, sweet smiles and well wishes, and generosity that made the day just so lovely. Dear NSW Families,
It’s hard to put into words how grateful Dewi and I are for your love and support in our upcoming marriage. It can be easy to take these for granted in the progressive bubble that is Los Angeles but having grown up in a very different part of the country, I recognize these gifts and feel honored to receive them.
When Roleen brought up the idea of a bridal shower, I cringed. Weekends are so precious and you are all so busy – why would you want to come and give your time to celebrate us?I clearly underestimated what it means to belong to the NSW community.
