Children’s architectural considerations in the East Wing

In the East Wing Building Space the children have been investigating castles. After observing and analyzing children’s conversations and questions, the teachers noticed that this group of children was focused on three main architectural concepts: Surface Design, Structural Design, and Microclimate.  Below, we highlight the discussions that brought us to this conclusion and pose research questions to further the children’s interests.
