Cooking this week

Hi Everyone!

Have you been wondering about the transformation of the former “Lego Corner” on the patio? The space is being transformed as part of an idea about exploring and linking the NSW garden & your home gardens, food, family, home, culture and the tastes, smells, sight and feel of nature. (Legos are in the front yard) The children will soon be working to come up with a name for the area and we would like to invite you & your children to share some inspiration with us. If you have a garden or fruit tree, maybe you could bring in some fruit or vegetables.  They would be incorporated into the exploration and shared with everyone at snack time. If you see something intriguing at the farmers market, if you have some seeds or seedings, if you “forage” in your neighborhood, we would love you to share those as well. Anything natural is welcome. It doesn’t even have to be edible. Just drop it off in the kitchen with your name on it or give it to Ivana & Katherine. We will identify the possible allergens or non-edibles of your gift.

As for cooking this week…….

Today we are happy to have Ronit visiting to surprise us all with something delicious to prepare and share with the children.

And tomorrow we are hoping to have Kate Holland join us to prepare guacamole. Yum!

Have you been contemplating what you could share? Give us a call and we can help brainstorm if you are stuck. We would love to have you!

Talk to Ivana or Katherine or email me.

Thanks!

Best,
Kristen Messina
