“Day-In-The-Life” photosets are a cornerstone of Documentation Committee and of our school. Our plan is to post a few of these (or more!) every month to present the everyday school experience of our children and their teachers. We all know the events, the parades, the concerts, the big things are fantastic — but amazing moments happen every single day and these sets can provide a taste. You’re encouraged to share these with your children, too! It’s a great way to open up a conversation about what they’ve been up to, and with whom. Learning and relationships are reinforced by these photos — in the language of Reggio, the learning is made visible. Also, as with all posted photos, individual images are easily downloaded. Just click on a thumbnail to select the photo, then right-click, or control-click to save it. Don’t worry if your child doesn’t make it into a particular set. Our plan is to do many of them, at varying times of day, and to feature as many people as possible each time. (Look for an afternoon set coming soon.) Enjoy! — Documentation Committee
