Our Valentine celebration last past week was a huge success and we would like to thank you for your support. The children enjoyed a week filled with decorating and creating cards for friends and family. Seeing their environment transform filled them with anticipation for things to come. The week culminated with pizza, cupcakes, posing in front of the photo booth, passing out cards, and lots of excitement. We hope their poem gave you a glimpse of what love means to them. As always, we find ourselves inspired by the depth of their words.

Since our trip to Reggio Emilia in 2018, the West Coast Collaborative has been in dialogue with Reggio Children. In continuing our efforts to study together and learn from each other, each of the schools in the WCC submitted documentation so it could be reviewed by Tiziana Filippini and Loretta Bertani. On Friday, Amy, Kris, Roleen and the teachers, pediagogistas, atelierista and directors from the other participating schools met with Tiziana and Loretta to receive feedback. Once again, we were grateful for their insight and look forward to sharing with you how we plan on relaunching our curriculum based on their suggestions.
