It was so much fun preparing for our Halloween celebration!! The children enjoyed making decorations for the classroom, like pumpkin drawings and pumpkins made with paper maché, paper chains, and all kinds of spooky decorations. We spent weeks making all these things and had many conversations to make sure that our decor worked for the whole group. Through it, we discovered that things that may be spooky for some of us are not so for others. And we experienced the joy of anticipation by counting down the days till our celebration!! We planned for a fashion show through which we could share our costumes with one another and even made a runway!!! Of course it can’t be a celebration without a dance party and pizza!!!
