On Monday, you will notice a big barrel marked Westside Food Bank in the middle courtyard as you enter the school.
Every year we support their efforts to bring food to those families in our community who need our help. The holidays, are a good time to help our children feel the importance of giving and sharing as well as receiving when there seems to be so much materialistic focus. The following is a list of food items that are suggested as good chioces for the donation barrel. No glass containers except for baby food please.
tuna, vegetables, fruit, instant soup, stews or meat, Pasta, lentils pork and beans, fruit juice, soup, pinto beans, macaroni and cheese, hot and cold cereal, baby food.The barrel will be picked up on Friday,
December 17th.
