Come hear "Mr. Roleen" speak. Join The New School-West and the Friends of Walgrove Elementary School in a joint fundraiser featuring Jim Heimann, a Taschen Books author, editor, and graphic designer for a rare evening exploring the hidden history of Los Angeles. Part slideshow, part rambling travelogue, this will be an evening filled with unusual and arcane images and tidbits about the city we all love. This is the third annual event, and since last year, there have been many requests for more from Jim. A limousine tour with Jim narrating the city has been auctioned off at our silent auction since 2008 with great success and was an intimate cruise of the best loved spots with stops and visits among icons that make our LA history great. We are so very grateful to Jim Heimann, who donates 100% of the proceeds to The New School – West and Walgrove Elementary professional development funds. It is a delightful evening for our community and many connections will be made between families who attend our preschool and those who are involved in their future community elementary school, and all our community members.
