Hi, Friends. It’s Thursday, September 19th, 2013 and we’re busy! Here’s what’s coming up for September and October. Take a minute to coordinate your calendars and be on the look out for fliers and sign ups sheets:
BOOK FAIR at NSW: This Saturday (the 21st) from 9 to 2. It’s a really fun community day. Bring your friends! Sign up to help, or bring goodies to be sold at the Bake Sale!
PHOTO DAY: Tuesday, September 24th. We want to respect your morning routine so say your goodbyes so the children can be ready for their day. EW will go first and their group photo will be at9:00. If you do not come on Tuesdays. please come at 9:00 for the photo. WW group photo will be at9:15. If you don’t come on Tuesdays or you come in the afternoon, be here by 9:10. Individual photos will be done throughout the morning. Information is on the blog.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES: Available times for the WW are posted by the sign in/out sheet. Let us know if they don’t work for you so we can adjust our schedules. NOTE: We have early pick up on Friday, September 27th, but the teachers have listed all day times for conferences on that day.
EW conferences will begin on November 5th but if there is anything pressing, please speak with your teacher about an earlier meeting time.
EARLY PICK UP DAY: Friday, September 27th, we close at 12:15. Check the door soon for a park playdate option if you’re looking for people to meet up with.
WW PARENT POTLUCK DINNER: The Bryman’s are hosting the WW parent potluck on Saturday, September 28th at 7:00. Adults only. See your emails for an evite for details.
WHAT IS REGGIO? NIGHT at NSW: Tuesday, October 1st from 6:30 to 8:45. For parents. Child Care on site (look for sign ups on the entrance door)
SMC REGGIO CLASS FIELD TRIP: Wednesday, October 2nd, from 3 to 6. I’ll be bringing my ECE 51 class to our school. . .just wanted you to know.
WW BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT/OPEN HOUSE: Thursday, October 10th, 6:30 to 8:45. Parents only. Refreshment sign-ups will be on the door.
COMEDY NIGHT: Sunday, October 13th. Doors open at 5:30. Comics are on from 7 to 9. It’s a great night! Bring your friends. Reserve your “tickets” now.
SCHOOL IS CLOSED: on Monday, October 14th, but the teachers will be here all day for parent-conferences. Both EW and WW parents are invited to sign up for scheduled times. Children can come with you if you need childcare during your conference time. There will be teachers available.
COFFEE WITH ROLEEN: Wednesday, October 23rd, 9:30 to 11:30. Location TBD. Sign-ups will be on the door.
HALLOWEEN PARADE: Thursday, October 31st at 9:30. Go onto the blog, click onto “Articles” in the heading and click on “Halloween News 2013” for details about costumes (please no masks) and what the event is all about. Morning refreshment sign-ups will be on the door.
