To our NSW Parent Community,
I’ve got some exciting news to share. I’ve been offered a great job opportunity and with much thought (and emotion), I’ve decided to accept the position as Site-Supervisor for Voyages’ new toddler school. I am a passionate advocate for the early foundations of academic-identity and look forward to the challenges and opportunities that this new role will bring me in my continued quest to bring positive preschool experiences to children and their families. I will be working from a home setting which will allow my wife and I the flexibility needed as we move into the next chapter of our marriage and build a family together, something as some of you know, we are eagerly anticipating!
The excitement of this next chapter of new possibilities, comes with many emotions and it is bittersweet knowing that as I share the news, I too will be graduating from NSW along with many of our EW children. This beautiful community has supported tremendous personal and professional growth in me over the past three years. I am filled with gratitude for each and every child, family, and colleague that has shared the busy, thoughtful, joy-filled moments that made up my time as a teacher for this school.
And so I’m savoring the moments that will keep me focused as we continue the school year together. I’m a stronger teacher for my time at NSW, a deeper thinker, and a more sensitive, meaning-interpreter of moments, great and small. Thank you all for helping to shape me as a human being. I have incredible love for you all and I look forward to continued opportunities to participate in this beautiful learning community.
