A lot goes in to the holiday celebrations at NSW – the children learn songs, the teachers support decorations and practices and parents get involved too! Samantha Soule (Ophelia’s mom, EW) has come before to supply materials and instruction for making lanterns to light up the winter night of our holiday show. This year she worked in the East Wing all morning with several children.
Tomorrow (Thursday), Ronit (Ella’s mom WW), along with parent volunteers will cook latkes with the children for snack in the morning. There’s always room for celebration at NSW! Thank you to all our parent volunteers for their hard work (washing dishes after the parties), special talents and good cheer this year – we couldn’t do it without you! xoxo – all of us at NSW
