Mystery Box

The East Wing will begin their traditional ‘Mystery Box’ game on Monday. A name will be pulled and that child gets to take the box home and put a special object inside. Working with parents, the child makes clues to read at morning circle to see if friends can guess what’s inside. Bringing it back the next day, they read the clues and share their object which can then stay on a special table for a few days, or go into their cubby to take home.

The Mystery Box was started to give the children an opportunity to share the things they love to bring to school from home.  They share with their whole East Wing community and to feel secure in knowing their item will be respected as they will also respect other’s items.
