Did you know that the NSW teachers and children will be celebrating you on Parents’ Day? For the East Wing Parents, it’s on Tuesday morning on June 12th and for the West Wing Parents, it’s on Wednesday, June 13th. Plan to get a sitter for the siblings and tell your work you’ll be in around 10:30 because from 8:00 to 10:00, we’ll be sipping juice and nibbling on a continental breakfast complete with coffee and tea. It’s a time for your child to “show you around” and participate in their favorite activities (sans the mud pit!), find out what’s going on in the classroom all while gathering with fellow NSW friends. We will come together for circletime around 9:45 or so and send you off (gift in hand) back to work while we continue on with our day. . . grateful, once again, to have you in our lives.
