Sam: What do you plan to take pictures of
Ava: Whatever I see that I think is beautiful.
Mason: Flowers and fruit.
Jobim: The view. But I think we should draw the view. I know, we could take pictures with the camera and then draw pictures we take.
The children began their walk and soon ran into a fellow gardener, who also took care of falcons. He asked if we would like to help dig for worms to feed to the falcons, and the children were excited to help. They were also inspired to take pictures of the falconer and the worms they dug up.
Next time the teachers plan on bringing paper and pencils to the garden for those who were inspired to draw. The teachers plan on having the group of children share their experience and pictures with the larger group for their feedback.
