As we say goodbye to 2016 we are are also saying goodbye to our friend Jaimee. She has been supporting us in the East Wing and will now pursue her education at Santa Monica College. We talked to the children about her departure and they had some ideas on how we could say goodbye and stay connected.
Luke: We need a big envelope to put all the notes for Jamiee.
Teacher Adriana: What kind of things do you like, Jaimee?
Jamiee: I like dinosaurs and kitties.
Lily: We can make her some drawings of those things.
Cooper: I know we can ask Matteo for help. He makes really good dinosaurs..
The children have been working hard on making notes for Jaimee and will continue to do so after she leaves. She promised to leave her address and that she will return to sub for us when we need her.
