Sarah Pinder worked with Dawson, Legacy, Paloma, and Kai Martin in the middle courtyard this morning to sow seeds into peat pots.
We planted Nantes Carrots, Four Season Lettuce, and Bull's Blood Beets.
Legacy: I don't like that name.
Sarah: Maybe we can come up with a new name.
Paloma: Which side of the seed is the up side?
We planted 70 peat pots and guessed how long they will take to sprout. To keep track, we'll mark the days in the front yard.
Paloma estimates that the seeds will "come up in the spring" as she wrote on her sign.
Paloma and Legacy collaborated on a sign to communicate with the other children:
Paloma: No Touching
Legacy: the plants until they grow.
