THANK YOU to the parents who have generously contributed so far. If you haven’t contributed, please do so by this Friday, Sept 17.
TEACHER APPRECIATION COMMITTEE…WHAT’S THAT?
We are all so lucky to be part of such a wonderful school with such amazing teachers and staff. In order to show our appreciation and as a way to thank the teachers for their hard work, The Teacher Appreciation Committee
– plans and executes a monthly breakfast or luncheon for the teachers
– collects and distributes a cash “thank you” gift during holiday time
– organizes and executes a big year-end Teacher Appreciation luncheon
in May with a cash gift for each teacher.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU…
Please contribute $10-20 in cash by September 17th to provide some delicious monthly treats throughout the year. You can put the contribution in an envelope posted in the office marked “teacher appreciation fund.”
The committee will also ask for a monetary commitment from the parents after Thanksgiving in preparation for a holiday bonus for the teachers and then again in May for the year-end Teacher Appreciation luncheon/gift.
We welcome everyone’s input on ways of showing appreciation and gathering monetary support. Should you have any suggestions, questions, please feel free to contact me.
