The Lily School from Japan

Welcome picture of visitors The Lily School sent us this photo of their Director and teachers before they came to visit.

The children copied their names onto name tags to welcome them to NSW.

We took their photo and asked the Wexlers how to welcome them to our school. Sari wrote out a friendly "welcome": Youkoso Irasshaimashita
which Keaton copied out on the welcome sign.

All the children were excited to greet the visitors and learn some new words in Japanese.

Ila approached the group while Roleen was talking with them and offered them some rocks.

These rocks were especially decorated as gifts and were given to the teachers as an appreciation gift.

Ila made the rounds and the teachers were delighted with the offering.

We noticed the children noticing the teachers and the visitors name tags. They began to make name tags for themselves.

The Lily school gave Roleen a ninja suit for the children and many small masks and gifts. We'll have those out this week.
