The Library Team is in full swing and Gia’s (WW) Mami, Lisa, will be checking books in, repairing, and updating the library system for the month of September.

It was TEACHER LUNCH Tuesday!  We’re excited that the Teacher Appreciation Team has offered lunch for the teachers on the first Tuesday of the month. Heather (Estelle, EW) baked quiches and then took home a feverish Estelle, Michelle (Arrow, EW) had salads delivered from her maternity bed (new baby sister!), and Daniela (Eva, EW) dropped off sweets while Eva was home sick! Wow, the sacrifices this week!! Just a testament to the love around here – WE LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU TOO!

Roxanne started the Farmer’s Market Trips on the bus with Paul (Poppy, EW) to continue our presence in the community. On these trips, it is our hope that people see children as engaged  citizens right now, not just citizens of the future.  We know them to be curious, capable, and intentional thinkers ready and eager to participate in their city. It’s time for them to be seen as the caring, participating neighbors they are.

And thanks again to the Graves family for hosting our first Coffee with Roleen.  More to come on that so stay tuned.  Here’s to another great week.  Have a restful weekend and stay well!
