Tricia, from Blueberry Atelier preschool has had a traveling exhibit of her school children’s environmental concern called; “Trash Talking”. It is based on her student M.J.’s poem and the ripple effect that poem has had in their small community. NSW caught a ripple and we’ve run all the way to the city with it.
Your children are also aware of the environmental stresses and want to take action. We are petitioning the city council, creating articles for the Argonaut, exhibiting signs at the Farmer’s Market this Sunday, and have been invited to create a panel for the traveling exhibit.
The exhibit, “Trash Talking” is next going to be installed at the Children’s Museum in Portland, Oregon. Our panel has just been completed and I will be traveling up there on the weekend of the 19th to speak about the NSW children’s part in this concern. This generation has a strong voice in the greater community.
