Teachers Sam and Stuart discovered an interest of the children’s in music: the children began relating the sounds they were creating to the sounds animals make in the wild. From there, a story about baby elephants chasing after their stomping parent elephants began to develop. Teacher Sam will offer images of these animals and the recycled instruments in the classroom next week. The teachers wonder what paths the children will take and if they will tell stories about animals through a musical lense.
