Today at the 11:30 morning reflection meeting, we gathered together in our EW and WW groups and reviewed the steps to our Safety Drill procedure so we all knew just what to do when we heard the bell. When the bell rang, the children looked to their teacher for directions and then walked through the doors to line up outside. All went along smoothly with the teachers and children knowing just what to do in case of an emergency. Part of the procedure is to make sure the sign in and out sheets are complete for our head count SO BE SURE YOU SIGN IN AND OUT every day! We use those documents to call roll once we safely arrive on May St.and use it again to make sure we all make it back inside! And we made it!
