“WHERE IS ME?” -Georgia
While working in the Building Space Georgia, Liv, and Olivia worked on designing a home for the animals. As they encountered challenges they supported each other and took these challenges as an opportunity to envision their relationships.
Olivia: I’m drawing us working together.
Teacher Adriana: Tell us more about this Master Plan.
Olivia: This is Liv, you, and this is Allie and this is the building we made.
Georgia: Where is me?
Olivia: Oh yeah, Georgia, here you are!
Georgia: Yes, we built the home together remember? (Smiles)
Olivia: Yes, we did it! (Smile)
“We consider relationships to be the fundamental, organizing strategy of our educational system.”-Loris Malaguzzi
Olivia and Liv decided to go to snack while Georgia continued working on the home for the animals. When Olivia came back, she decided to draw a Master Plan where she reflected on the relationship that was developed while connecting with each other. Georgia understood the importance of merging her ideas with the whole group. When working collectively, we must make sure each individual gets the time he/she might need to express and connect his/her ideas to the group. -Adriana
